This is my take on the scene where the Beast awaits Beauty's return. Overcome with sadness, he reflects on what he has become and blames himself for Beauty's alleged desertion. His day dreams are plagued by feelings of self-hatred and hopelessness. These thoughts ultimately get the better of him; tearing his heart and soul apart. He lies helplessly in his field of roses but still hopes that the girl he loves will return. Even if it's just to say goodbye.

Beautiful... The sad atmosphere you created with thoses greyish colours and the contrast it makes with the glowing red roses gives the whole piece a very interesting feeling.

Understandable. I'm not very good with flowers. I guess since I'm trying to convince everyone that my "beast" is THE Beast, I might as well pretend that my poppy look-a-like plants are roses. #refuge in surrealism XD
