Edit: So I've actually finished the first draft of this story. Final editing however will be postponed until the New Year. Thanks to everyone who fav'ed this!

Aloysius is actually the name of the kitten if you can see it. This is pretty much a concept painting for a short story I've been wanting to get to but probably never will. It covers basic themes involving the deluge, the aftermath, and rebirth. Except it may be a little esoteric and much more targeted towards children. The ningen in the painting was originally far more frightening but I thought I ought to make him cute and friendly. Like an aquatic Barney or something.
